C&J Catering debuted in 2004 as personal chefs for hire setting out to expose a small group of clients to their amazing passion for great food!  Word quickly spread about the quality of food and tremendous flexibility in menu planning C&J Catering provided and its owners reacted to the increased demand for much larger catering services.

In early 2006, C&J Catering moved to its current location in the heart of downtown Mechanicsburg.  Now managed by a single owner along with a staff of the most talented, dedicated and hardworking individuals; C&J Catering has quickly become the talk of the town with a vast array of corporate, private and public clientele.

Jamie Berger, President and Founder, actively participates in the overall management of the Company.  She manages and maintains all contract and large corporate accounts.  She is a member of the International Caterers Association and serves on the Board of Directors of CONTACT Helpline, a 24 hour non-profit help and information hotline.  She is married and has two children.


Matthew Miller, Executive Chef:  Executive Chef Matthew Miller is a graduate of Johnson & Whales University in Rhode Island.  Prior to coming on board with C&J Catering Matthew was the Executive Chef of Sallie Mae Corporation leading operations of their 12 executive dining establishments, managing over 150 employees and providing over 12,000 executive meals per day.  Matthew brings a wealth of management and culinary experience to C&J Catering.  He is married and has two sons.


Don Holmes, Operations Director:  Donnie has been with C&J Catering almost since the beginning.  Donnie is responsible for the overall logistics schedule of each day.  He works with all drivers and set-up teams to ensure strict timelines are adhered to.  Donnie also serves as a leader in staffing and coordinating corporate events.


Marlo Heagy, Sales Manager:  Marlo is a new addition to C&J Catering.  Marlo brings tremendous experience in the sales field to C&J Catering.  With a background in various fields all relating to sales, Marlo knows what it takes to secure a client and keep them happy.  She is married with one son.


Chris Nadberazney, Contract Account Manager: Dixon University Center.  Chris is responsible for all catering services at Dixon University in Harrisburg.


Deb Clark, Contract Account Manager: Pennsylvania Game Commission.  Deb is responsible for all catering services at Pennsylvania Game Commission in Harrisburg.


Glenn Neville, Sous Chef:  Glenn has worked in the food industry for over 20 years.  Starting as a dishwasher at 16 and successfully working his way up to Sous Chef.  Glenn brings his expertise and creativity to the kitchen at C&J.   Glenn’s love for cooking shows through with his wonderful food and positive attitude.


Melissa Pearl, Executive Designer:  Melissa is the heart of C&J’s design team.  She devotes her time to the preparation of florals, linens, decorations, and signage for every formal event.  She is married and has two kids.


Contessa Barry, Wedding/ Event Coordinator:  Contessa is relatively new to the C&J team.  Her experience includes a 3 year internship with a Philadelphia based Wedding Planner and several college art courses.  


Karen Burgett, Pantry Chef:  Karen has been with the company almost since it started.  Going on 6 years, she has seen the company grow tremendously and she is excited to see how it continues.  She is one of the hardest workers at C&J… and make sure not to get in her way if she is wearing boots!


Landon Wise, Creative Media Director:  A recent graduate from Temple University’s Film & Media Arts program, Landon is in charge of all culinary and event photography for C&J.  He also worked on the development of the current website and is responsible for all monthly newsletters and promotions.


Pam Wise, Pastry Chef:  Pam worked a desk job for several years and needed a creative change.  She came to C&J in June 2007 and immediately incorporated her artistic abilities into every dessert platter.  She enjoys baking and working with the talented people at C&J.  Pam likes to spend her spare time with her 3 crazy kids.


Amanda Shughart, Contract Account Manager: Pennsylvania Judicial Center.  Amanda is responsible for all catering services at the Pennsylvania Judicial Center in Harrisburg and is also the newest member of the C&J team.


Ann Kern, Kitchen Staff: Ann has been with C&J for the past 8 months.  She has previously worked in daycare for many years and needed a change.  C&J has offered her the opportunity to combine her love of food and working with people.  Ann likes to spend her free time with her two children.
