Five years ago, C&J Catering made history. In August 2021, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture chose our team as the exclusive food, beverage, and catering provider for the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. This milestone marked the first time a local, certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise was selected to manage the entire culinary footprint of this premier destination.

Today, we are thrilled to share that C&J Catering has officially renewed our exclusive contract with the Farm Show Complex.

This renewal represents more than just a business agreement. It is a validation of five years of hard work, creative menu building, and community focus.

Growing From a Home Kitchen to a Million Square Feet

When our Founder and CEO, Jamie Berger, started C&J Catering in 2004, she did so with just two employees working out of her home kitchen. Over the decades, we have grown into a premier regional hospitality provider operating from a 20,000-square-foot facility with a dedicated team.

Stepping into the PA Farm Show Complex in 2021 was a massive leap forward. The complex boasts over one million square feet of event space, arenas, and exhibition halls. Hosting over 200 events and welcoming millions of visitors annually, the venue requires a highly adaptable partner to keep things running efficiently.

Rooted in Pennsylvania Agriculture

As a Central Pennsylvania business, we have always believed in supporting local vendors. The Farm Show Complex is the beating heart of Pennsylvania’s agricultural community, and we take our responsibility to showcase regional producers seriously.

In our concession stands and catered events, we proudly highlight regional ingredients. Partnering with Pennsylvania farms and producers allows us to serve authentic local flavors directly to the visitors who walk through the doors.

Looking Ahead

As we look toward the next five years, we are excited to build on the foundation we have established. Our team is already working on fresh dining concepts, additional concession enhancements, and deeper relationships with regional agricultural partners.

“We are incredibly honored to continue serving our community at one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic venues,” says Jamie Berger. “Managing food service for millions of visitors over the past five years has given us invaluable insight into what guests expect. We look forward to introducing new culinary innovations and elevating the overall hospitality experience for every single guest.”

Whether you are attending a large trade show, an athletic tournament, or the iconic Pennsylvania Farm Show itself, we are honored to continue to serve you.
