C&J Catering & Events Selected to Provide Food, Beverage and Catering Services for Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex
Middletown, Pa. (Aug. 17, 2021) – C&J Catering and Events, a full-service catering and events company based in Middletown, Dauphin County, has been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture as the exclusive catering and concessions provider for the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

A Versatile Event Space
From the agricultural shows that gave the building its name, to car shows, sporting events, conventions and other activities, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is home to a wide variety of events that take place throughout the year. The complex’s flexible floor plans accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to large exhibitions, concerts and corporate events.
With more than one million square feet of exposition halls, arenas, banquet facilities and conference rooms, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex hosts over 200 major and small events that attract about over a million visitors annually.
A Small Business Gains Momentum
C&J Catering, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise, was founded by Jamie Berger in 2004. Berger started the company with two employees in a small kitchen in her home. Today, C&J Catering operates out of a 20,000-square-foot facility and has nearly 100 full- and part-time employees. In addition to catering, the company offers full event services including event design, planning, bakery, floral design and venue management. It is consistently a Couples’ Choice Award winner by WeddingWire and Best of Weddings winner by The Knot.
C&J Catering also manages catering and food service in many employer facilities in Central Pennsylvania and provides event management and catering at the AACA Museum (automobile museum) in Hershey and The 903 in Middletown.
