Rustic Lilac | Wedding Florals & Centerpiece Tips

Make the Most of Your Wedding Floral Centerpieces

  • Have centerpieces that vary in height to create a more visually appealing guest tables.
  • Stick to a color scheme! If you want to vary your tones, neutral colors complement any color scheme well. A good place to use a pop of color is the featured arrangement, whether it’s a bouquet or a sweetheart table arrangement.
  • Make sure your taller centerpieces aren’t in the way of your guest conversations! Tall floral stands are a great workaround for this. As long as your floral arrangements are placed above your guests’ line of vision, your arrangements won’t block conversation. Keep in mind that your guests may have traveled to come see you, so give them the opportunity to be able to enjoy it all!

Wedding Florals with Rustic Lilacs & Lavender Hues

These wedding floral arrangements have rustic tones with wildflowers, hints of lilac and lavender hues. Featuring both feathered and silver dollar eucalyptus, these cascading purple and blue-green tones look perfectly lovely at Ironstone Ranch! This client has both high and low centerpieces, resulting in beautiful variation across guest tables. The tall centerpieces, pictured below, use clear glass cylinders to prevent any visual blockages (avoid blocking across-the-table eye contact)! Additionally, to create variation across bouquets, these bridesmaids hold white hydrangea arrangements which allows differentiation from the bridal bouquet. Photos by Thomas Beaman Photography.
